born in India, grew up in England, moved to the U.S. after marriage in 1974. I have been exposed to yoga since childhood when my dad used to practice asanas and pranayama every morning. in early 2000's I actually found yoga specifically while searching for a deeper connection with myself. through this practice, my body, heart, and mind opened up leading me towards freedom from physical and emotional imbalance that I experienced for many years. in the last 6 years, my yoga practice has included a strong vinyasa practice also.
